🏗️ Building Costs

• Road: 1 Wood + 1 Brick (connects to own road/settlement/city)
• Settlement (1 VP): 1 Wood + 1 Brick + 1 Sheep + 1 Wheat (must connect to own road, obeys distance rule)
• City (2 VP): 2 Wheat + 3 Ore (upgrades existing settlement, produces 2 resources)
• Development Card: 1 Wheat + 1 Sheep + 1 Ore (draws from deck)

🃏 Development Cards

• Knight (⚔️): Move Robber to any producing hex and steal 1 card from an opponent on that hex. Contributes to Largest Army.
• Road Building (🛤️): Place 2 free roads immediately!
• Year of Plenty (🌾): Take any 2 resources from the bank.
• Monopoly (💰): Name 1 resource; all players must give you all cards of that resource.
• Victory Points (🏛️): Chapel, Library, Market, Palace, University (worth 1 VP each, kept secret).

🏆 Special Awards (+2 VP each)

• Longest Road (2 VP): First player to build a continuous path of 5+ roads. Can be overtaken if someone achieves strictly greater length.
• Largest Army (2 VP): First player to play 3+ Knights. Can be overtaken by strictly greater count.

⭐ 5-6 Player Extension Special Rule

In 5-6 player games, after the active player ends their turn, all other players enter the Special Building Phase in turn order. During this phase, you may build roads, settlements, cities, or buy dev cards with your current resources, preventing hand overflow and keeping the game fast-paced!

⚠️ Rolling a 7

Any player with more than 7 resource cards must discard half (rounded down). The active player then moves the Robber and steals 1 card.
